CWM sponsored "Drinks 4 Drinks", a fundraiser to benefit Charity Water, a non-profit organization dedicated to providing to clean drinking water for people in Cambodia.
This video demonstrates the vital importance of the efforts this charity supports:
CWM's Market Outlook 2012 at the Seattle Aquarium included a special community service project in which we invited clients to join us in assembling 100 backpacks and four early learning pre-school kits for children in need.
In addition to the two legged members of our community, every CWM team member shares a devotion for the furry four-legged members of our families. Each year we eagerly anticipate the (usually sunny) PAWSwalk where thousands of avid animal lovers and their dogs walk to raise funds in support of PAWS, a nationally recognized leader in rehabilitating injured and orphaned wildlife, sheltering and adopting homeless pets, and educating people on how to make the world a better place for both humans and animals. (Since 2011, Sponsor from 2009-2010)
Gary Arford and the CWM team volunteered to complete a financial makeover for Tom and Carol Snider, a couple approaching retirement age without a plan in place for acheiving their goals. Read Article.
Gary Arford was interviewed as a featured guest professional on the subject of financial planning for the Brashenomics radio show on 1150 AM KKNW.

IslandWood is a unique 255-acre outdoor learning center designed to provide exceptional learning experiences and to inspire lifelong environmental and community stewardship. Students participate in experiential and project-based fieldwork that appeals to many different learning styles and interests. Using the cultural and natural environment as a context, Islandwood's programs integrate scientific inquiry, technology, and the arts. (Since 2006)
Each year, the Edmonds Community College Foundation hosts a golf tournament to raise money for the Foundation and support the mission of the Foundation. The proceeds go directly to support college programs and student scholarships. (Since 2009)

Our passion for pursuing and supporting education and entrepreneurship has come together in one great community program. The Northwest Business Institute (NWBI) is the educational arm of the South Snohomish County Chamber of Commerce. Their mission is to provide management training workshops and coaching programs for local small businesses in order to help owners and employees improve their companies from within. (Since 2004)
