Comprehensive Wealth Management was proud to be the Presenting Sponsor for A Vintage Evening dinner and auction, the proceeds of which benefit the students of Edmonds Community College through scholarship programs, faculty support, and legislative advocacy. (Since 2006)

IslandWood – Lynnwood Elementary School

IslandWood is a unique 255-acre outdoor learning center designed to provide exceptional learning experiences and to inspire lifelong environmental and community stewardship. CWM has supported Lynnwood Intermediate over the past several years by subsidizing camp costs to make the enrollment fees more manageable for students and their families. Students participate in experiential and project-based fieldwork that appeals to many different learning styles and interests. Using the cultural and natural environment as a context, Islandwood's programs integrate scientific inquiry, technology, and the arts. (Since 2006)

COO Shilo Lockett serves on the Board of Volunteers of America: Western Washington, a national, faith-based human services organization that helps some of the most vulnerable families, children and seniors in our communities lead safe, healthy, independent and productive lives.

PAWSwalk Team – Progressive Animal Welfare Society (PAWS)

In addition to the two legged members of our community, every CWM team member shares a devotion for the furry four-legged members of our families. Each year we eagerly anticipate the (usually sunny) PAWSwalk where thousands of avid animal lovers and their dogs walk to raise funds in support of PAWS, a nationally recognized leader in rehabilitating injured and orphaned wildlife, sheltering and adopting homeless pets, and educating people on how to make the world a better place for both humans and animals.

Premier Sponsor – Edmonds Community College Golf Tournament

Each year, the Edmonds Community College Foundation hosts a golf tournament to raise money for the Foundation and support the mission of the Foundation. The proceeds go directly to support college programs and student scholarships. (Since 2009)

Member – Alderwood-Terrace Rotary

As an active member of the Rotary Club of Alderwood-Terrace, Kris Muhlestein regularly participates in a variety of service projects that directly benefit the local community.

Board Member – Sno-King Youth Club

COO Shilo Lockett inherited her father (Gary Arford's) enthusiasm for service and is currently a board member for the Sno-King Youth Club. Prior to her official position on the board she worked with the organization to setup and sponsor the annual Running of the Balls fundraising event. (Since 2008)

Our passion for pursuing and supporting education and entrepreneurship has come together in one great community program. The Northwest Business Institute (NWBI) is the educational arm of the South Snohomish County Chamber of Commerce. Their mission is to provide management training workshops and coaching programs for local small businesses in order to help owners and employees improve their companies from within. (Since 2004)

Kris’s interest in business development and previous experience with BYU led him to join the Seattle Chapter of the BYUMS, which is affiliated with BYU Marriot School of Management and brings together people who desire to broaden interpersonal relationships, advance their careers, and establish a deeper connection to the business community through rendering meaningful service to individuals and organizations.
